The Focus Centre

The Focus Centre (at 107 High Street, Swanage) is a friendly place for people in Swanage and the surrounding area to find wellbeing services and is the Family Hub for Swanage.

Owned and managed by Swanage and Purbeck Development Trust on behalf of the local community, the Centre offers a wide range of services, from wrap-around childcare, to day services for adults, drug and alcohol support, speech and language therapy and lots more.

The ‘Welcome Lounge‘ at the Focus Centre offers a friendly welcome, a listening ear and our trained staff and volunteers can help you find the services which are right for you.

As the Focus Centre develops, we plan to create a community cafe, creating a welcoming space where people can meet, signposting to services and opportunities for local community groups to spread the word about their services.

The Centre has a range of different rooms available for booking by community and wellbeing services – please contact us for details.
