Safeguarding
Swanage and Purbeck Development Trust works in accordance with its Safeguarding Policy Safeguarding-policy-31.1.25.pdf (108 downloads )
We also have a Designated Safeguarding Lead; their role is to lead safeguarding within the Trust (including the Family Hub), ensuring that everyone is protected from harm and that safeguarding practices meet the standards set by the Dorset Safeguarding Children Partnership and the Dorset Safeguarding Adults Board.
We take care in our recruitment of staff and volunteers, using DBS checks, interviews and references as appropriate to ensure they are suitable to work with children and vulnerable adults.
